I am so proud to call Athens, GA my home! I am a Double Dawg, with degrees in Business (BBA ’92) and Education (M.Ed. ’95). My husband and I have been married for almost 20 years and have three native Athenians. When I’m not selling real estate, I am very involved in our community. For the past six years, I’ve served on the Board of Directors for Interfaith Hospitality Network of Athens. For the past three years, I’ve been the President of this organization. I am active in our daughters’ school PTAs, having served as president of the middle school PTA and finishing up a two year term of the elementary school PTA this year. We are members of Athens First United Methodist Church, where I work with the youth and sing in the Sanctuary Choir.
My community involvement has been recognized by the Athens Area Association of Realtors when they awarded me the Good Neighbor of the Year in 2012. Additionally, UGA’s Terry College of Business recognized me as one of Athens “Movers and Shakers” for 2014.
I enjoyed being an active member of the Junior League of Athens and really enjoy being a sustainer. I am a graduate of Leadership Athens, a former board member for the Samaritan Counseling Center, and am a past Chair of the Women in Business Council for the Athens Area Chamber of Commerce.
For fun, I love to garden, cook, and binge watch TV episodes on Netflix. On sunny days, you will find me enjoying a walk through Five Points with my boxer, Agnes. Almost every day, you’ll find me chauffeuring my children to various after school activities and events.
Life is wonderful in Athens, GA!
